Who's hosting this event?

Cindy & Tim Lavan, owners and operators of Chase Tavern Farm are hosting this event on their mid-coast Maine farm. They have been breeding and raising Championship quality show stock for 15 years and are a wealth of information and knowledge on many aspects of the alpaca business. Their farm has played a key and vital role in the development of the alpaca industry in New England and beyond since 1993. The goal of the event is to help local breeders, small or large by providing a venue for alpaca sales. The event is open to anyone who wishes to attend and is free to the public. They will be providing the housing, set-up and marketing for this event. Tim Lavan, one of the industry's top alpaca judges, will be lecturing throughout the weekend on many topics from alpaca husbandry to selecting the right alpacas for show or breeding. This event is designed to get alpaca enthusiasts to a central location for sales, marketing and mentoring. They welcome your comments and suggestions to make this event the best it can possibly be.
